We list below samples of the many and varied Bible Study Courses available, covering such subjects as follows:
Israelology
Church Doctrine
The Books of the Bible
Discipleship
We cannot list here all the courses available, so if the subject of your interest is not included in these samples please let us know as over two hundred and fifty studies have been written and published. All courses are normally by postal service for home study but, if required, we would travel any reasonable distance to a venue of your convenience. In this case we would ask for a minimum of four students to attend in order to make possible a reasonably sized group for discussion. The courses usually consist of four to five sessions, lasting approximately two and a half hours. Please ask for our detailed list. Full study notes are provided for each course session. There is no charge for the study course materials as all costs are met from our Trust funds.
THE NAMES AND NATURE OF GOD
This course is not a repetition of the Hebrew meaning of the Names of God. In this four-part study series we seek to go beyond turning out minor Hebrew scholars. Instead we would present the Names and Nature of God as compounded or hammered into the Name of Jesus, giving the student an understanding of his new life in Jesus.
THE GOSPEL SERIES
Here we harmonise the four Gospels and place them in their correct contextual setting. By coincidence there are four sessions to this course, but we do not follow the usual presentation of covering one Book per session. Instead we present a harmonised view of the central message of the Gospels. In the past this course has given a depth of understanding of Scripture, and at the end of the course the student is given twelve booklets setting out the detailed harmony of the Gospels for their own personal study.
GOD'S PEOPLE ON A JOURNEY
ISRAEL AND THE CHURCH
THE COVENANTS OF GOD
We present a Scriptural basis for the parallel journey between God's two covenanted peoples, which will give a fuller understanding of contemporary Current Affairs.
THE BOOK OF REVELATION
Contrary to `accepted wisdom', this is not a difficult Book to understand. Indeed, we are told that we are blessed if we read it! This is the most `Jewish' of all the Books of the Bible. We approach the subject with this in mind and `tie into' these studies many different Old Testament prophecies, thereby placing the Book of Revelation within the whole Canon of Scripture rather than leaving it as a mysterious `loner'.
THE BALKAN CONFLICT AND CHURCH HISTORY
With the present `wars and rumours of wars', does the present Balkan conflict have a place in `Church history'? It has been said that the purpose of God is revealed in the Book of Genesis but that it takes a further sixty-five Books to outwork it. In this course of four sessions we place the present-day Balkan conflict centre-stage in the `history of the Church' - looking back into the past in order to point us more confidently to the future.
THE SEVEN FEASTS OF LEVITICUS
The Feasts of the Book of Leviticus are the seedbed for much of Christian doctrine, and yet the prophetic content is often overlooked. We look at these Feasts as the continuous revelation of God's will and purpose being outworked in an historical setting - both for the nation of Israel and for the `nation' of the Church. We therefore need to be aware of the revelation contained within these Feasts within the timescale in which we live.
THE BOOKS OF THE BIBLE
It has been said that the individual Books of the Bible are `Pearls strung upon a Thread'. We know that Thread to be the Scarlet Thread of Jesus, and if we are to understand more fully the purposes of God we need to know how these Pearls are strung together to form a whole Necklace.
The Seven Dispensations of the Bible: We have broken the Scriptures down into seven Dispensations or Ages. Out of these seven Ages we take the central theme from the various Books of the Bible which relates to a particular Dispensation in order to show the clear pattern of God's will and purpose - stringing them together into His Necklace. Each Study Course consists of four sessions, and although each course is complete in itself, the whole seven courses give a comprehensive knowledge of the Scriptures.
THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS LIKE . . .
So often we use spiritual words without a full understanding of their meaning. In this short two-part study course we take up the challenge. A well respected Christian leader has said: `Throughout all ages one eternal purpose runs'. We would present that purpose and set it out within the Kingdom of God.
BIBLE STUDY CORRESPONDENCE COURSE
For those who would prefer a more prolonged Bible Course, we offer a full Correspondence Course spread out over two years. Each month we send out study material covering the four main streams of our work. They are:
Israelology
The Books of the Bible
Church Doctrine
Discipleship and Special Topics
As with all our publications, this work is available free of charge to all disciples of the Lord Jesus who wish to gain a deeper understanding of their calling.
